Adult Sailing Class

General:
ESA teaches small boat sailing at Indian Mound Park in Englewood, FL
Learning to sail offers a great opportunity to meet with other adults and create a great new lifelong learning experience.
Specifics:
There are three adult learn to sail classes for ages 18+
The cost is $300 per adult
​Limit per class: The limit is set prior to class registration announcement.
Qualifications:
Adults age 18 plus
Can demonstrate ability to swim

The process:
The camp starts with an orientation at Indian Mound Park which includes a basic swim check. On day one of the class, pairs of students are teamed with an instructor until they are qualified to sail as a pair without the instructor on board. 
​
By the end of the four day class, most students are usually able to sail as a two person team on an RS Quest.
2025 Schedule: 10 AM to 2 PM Daily. 
​The next Adult Sailing Class will be offered:
FEBRUARY two weekends in February 2025: Feb 1,2 and Feb 8,9, 2025.
MARCH: M-Th March 3-6, 2025
NOVEMBER: M-Th November 3-6, 2025
