About ESA
Englewood Sailing Association has been teaching small boat sailing on Lemon Bay since 2002. We are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to building confidence, character and community through sailing. Every year over 150 people from Sarasota and Charlotte counties and beyond learn to sail with us. We offer several programs each year:

WHAT'S GOING ON THIS WEEK
Week Ending Saturday September 7 Wednesday Breakfast September 11 7:30 AM, Stephano's, 401 S Indiana Ave, Englewood FL All are welcome. Wednesday Adult Sailing is ON for September 11 9 AM to noon. Contact John Riehl to sail and to help tow a safety boat, captain or crew for Wednesday sailing. John's email or phone. We need volunteers to make it happen! Saturday Adult and Family Sailing is ON for September 14 NEW TIME 230PM to 530M Contact Pat Beffel if you can help with Safety boats or shore crew. Fall Youth Sailing starts Saturday August 7 11AM to 3PM Sign up for Fall Youth Sailing is open. This program is for summer campers who would like to sail more and hone their skills. Also, youth who were not able to attend summer camps are welcome. Sign up for beginner, or intermediate/advanced. Contact C.H. Ritt for more information. Nine Saturdays 11 to 3PM starting Sept 7 $125 Fall Coastal Cruising starts Saturday September 7 12 noon - 2PM this Saturday (other class times TBD) Learn how to sail Slow Flight, our 27' Catalina in the Gulf. Contact Marie Naisby for more information. $150 Looking Ahead Safety Boat Clinic Saturday Sept 21 8 AM to 11 AM (come to the yard at 7:40AM to learn to tow a boat) Learn how to captain and crew a safety boat, safe rescues, launching and trailering, Contact Cathy to sign up.
