ESA is proud to offer a program especially for homeschool students. Over the course of 10 weeks in the fall and 10 weeks in the spring, students will learn small boat sailing and the scientific, technical, engineering, and mathematical principles behind sailing. This program also includes environmental education, helping students to become good stewards of the maritime environment. The program is based on US Sailing's Reach STEM program.
Students must be 10-14 years old. The only prerequisite is the ability to swim.
The program runs Mondays from September 7, 2026 through November 9, 2026 and Mondays March 8, 2027 through May 10, 2027. All sessions are from 9 AM to 1 PM at our sailing center at Indian Mound Park, Englewood, FL.
This 20-week program is offered at $1,500. ESA is a registered service provider for the Personalized Education Program (PEP) and will bill PEP directly.
Enrollment will begin in late July. Please contact Cathy Cross, admin@englewoodsailing.org, (941) 681-8190, if you have any questions.
