Youth who complete a summer camp are invited to continue sailing with us on Saturdays in the fall and spring. We have programs for new sailors as well as those who've gone through a fall and spring season and are ready to learn more advanced skills.
We hold a coaching clinic at the end of the spring season where we teach kids how to be good coaches, supporting learning and building confidence in new sailors. Those who graduate from the coaching clinic are able to volunteer as coaches for our summer camps.
Each season consists of nine Saturdays from 11 AM to 3 PM. Newly graduated summer camp students participate in our "Improving Sailors" program. Graduates of that program sail in our Intermediate and Advanced group.
In addition to the program fee ($175 for Spring 2026; financial aid is available), each student's family automatically becomes a member family of ESA. In addition to adding support to our organization, that opens up opportunities to help as a volunteer. We have lots of ways you can pitch in, whether on Saturdays, during the week, or even from home.

For students who've never sailed, we offer a three-day novice clinic designed to get them basic skills they'll need to be able to sail with the other students. Our next novice clinic runs February 14, 21, and 28 of 2026. Register here.
